September is here, but London in its autumn’s clothes is as pretty as in other seasons. The cosmopolitan capital is always the same, the experience that gives you is different.

September is the month you can enjoy the last cocktails on a rooftop bar, visit 800 buildings opened to the public during The Open House Weekend and enjoy the Fashion Week Festival. Also in September, there is the OnBlackheath Festival, a long-awaited concert on the south bank, hence more fun.

1.Totally Thames Festival
1-30 September

Totally Thames is a festival that celebrates the river in an original way. Live river inspired art performances, boat races, concerts and boat parties are in the program. Walk along the river banks to admire large-scale art fittings and enjoy free shows and performances. If you are into mythology, don’t miss the Mother Danube music and storytelling spectacles.

2. London Design Biennale
4-23 September

Somerset House will host over 40 countries presenting exhibitions dedicated to the Emotional States theme. The participants from all six continents will be exploring ideas and questions. With interactive displays about sustainability, energy, pollution, migration, cities and social equality, it sounds promising.

3. NFL kickoff
8 September

Enjoy a family free activity at Piccadilly, celebrating the start of the American football season. Visit the traffic-free road to see the mascots and indulge yourself in the American food specific to the regions where the teams playing in London this year are based. There will be a concert and on stage performances too, therefore plan ahead.

4. Pearly Kings and Queens at Harvest festival
16 September

The tradition of Pearly Kings and Queens dates back in the 19th century’s Victorian London and was started by Henry Croft. An organized charitable tradition, the pearlies are wearing dark suits covered with shiny white pearl buttons. Look for Morris dancing, maypole dancing, marching bands and lots of colorful characters at this traditional event. The Pearly Kings and Queens are definitely an unforgettable sight.

5. Open House London
22-23 September

Celebrate London’s diversity throughout architecture with this free event. You can visit over 800 buildings that are not usually open to the public. Explore private houses, offices, schools, museums, and churches. See how the rich and famous live or find out more about familiar spaces. With Open House London, you can visit The Gherkin, Unilever House, Alexandra Palace, BT Tower and several more.

6. London Fashion Week Festival
20-24 September

This year, the Store Studios will host the London Fashion Week Festival. If you want to be on trend and to find out what’s fashionable this autumn, book your tickets for this event. Even more, catwalk shows and exclusivist shopping from 150 brands, all in one place.

7.OnBlackheath Festival
8-9 September

Once again, for the fifth year, the OnBlackheath music festival brings together great names of music, street food and lots of family fun. Enjoy the tasty courses on the rhythm of Paloma Faith, De La Soul, London Afrobeat Orchestra and many more. The prices are starting at £49.50.

8.GO! Organic Festival
8-9 September

If you are into a healthy lifestyle and also love eating natural, organic or raw, well, this event is for you. Enjoy the music of The Hoosiers while shopping for non-GMO fruits and veggies a visit with the kids the mini farm. There is also a picnic area where you can sit and enjoy.

9. Sicily Fest 2018                                                                                  7-9 September
